Dry well works, stone a bit gritty
Finally put in a dry well behind the garage where the gutters have always overwhelmed the yard, three and a half tons of drain rock around a perforated pipe. It's swallowing every storm we've had since without backing up onto the lawn. Only small knock is the load had a bit more grit and fines mixed through it than I'd call truly clean, had to hose some down before using it near the house.

Basement dry through the spring thaw

Bay Runoff No Longer Reaches The Wall
A customer up near the river in Bucksport had water backing up against a new retaining wall every hard rain off the bay, so we tied in a French drain before backfilling. Used about six tons of drain rock wrapped in fabric the full run of the wall. The driver got the tri-axle close enough on a tight lot that we barely had to wheelbarrow anything, and dumped it in two piles where we staked it.
