Should have edged the dog run first
Put down three tons of the pea gravel for a dog run along the side of the garage, no edging because we figured the dog would keep it contained. Should have read up first, because it migrates into the grass every time she digs near the fence line. Fire pit patio ready for the grandkids
Put in a fire pit patio and a little play area off the back deck for when the grandkids visit from away, used seven tons of the three eighths pea gravel for both spaces combined. We edged everything first with plastic landscape edging since I'd read that pea gravel wanders without it, and that made the difference. The driver up here near the Fish River dumped two separate piles right where we'd marked with flags, no argument about the distance up our camp road. Even after a summer of the grandkids running through it barefoot, it hasn't scattered past the edging at all.
